<h2>Summary</h2><p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">Add support for animated GIF playback within Encamera so that imported GIF files play their animation rather than displaying as static images.</p><h2>User Report</h2><p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">A user on iPad imported GIF files from their Photos app into Encamera and found that the GIFs do not animate/play. They appear as static images instead.</p><h2>Current Behavior</h2><p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">GIF files can be imported into Encamera, but they display as still images without animation.</p><h2>Requested Behavior</h2><p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">GIF files should play their animation when viewed within the Encamera vault, maintaining the same animated playback experience users expect from their original gallery.</p>
